Coming in January 2020, local law 152 of 2016 will go into effect. Essentially all buildings in New York City with the exception of one and two-family homes will be required to have there gas piping systems inspected by a gas qualified licensed master plumber every five years. Failure to comply with this new law will result in a civil penalty of $10,000. Local law 152 of 2016 is coming January 2020. Will you be prepared?
